TO-35 Green Metallic Paint

Writer: Alexander StuckAlexander Stuck

Concerning my TO-35, do you know if the original green paint was metallic? It seems to me I remember seeing it when I was on the farm back in the 50’s. I can’t detect it on some of the concealed parts that still have green on them.

Yes, the green on the castings is a metallic paint. Our FENA website has a listing of the paint codes and a number of suppliers who have the paint premixed and even in aerosol cans. Our website also has a listing of exactly what gets painted what color, for instance the rear wheel rims are silver or aluminum, the sheet metal light Ferguson Gray and the casting dark green metallic.
