Gauge Placement and Cowl Seal

What are the placement of the Ammeter, Temperature, and Oil Pressure gauges on a TO-35? Can a little glue be used to attach the cowl seal? March 24, 2015.

The original TO-35 had the ammeter on the far left corner, The temperature gauge just to the right of the steering wheel, and the oil pressure gauge in the far right corner. This arrangement changed when the fuel gauge was added. The rubber seal is attached to the edge of the instrument panel cowl. It can be installed without glue but you’re right, a coating of rubber trim cement, a 3M product, made for attaching rubber trim and weather seals, will keep the seal in place.
