Dashboard Vent is the Air Cleaner Inlet

I hope to purchase a Ferguson TO-30 this weekend. Can you tell me what the “vent” is on the right side of the dashboard? I’m not familiar with the Ferguson tractors; this will be our first tractor for our small farm. April 22, 2015.

The hooded vent on the right side of the dash is the air cleaner inlet.
